Reaction system

The grated photometer is designed for maintenance-free operation, featuring 12 wavelengths to ensure precise and reliable measurements. With a broad photometric linearity of up to 3.5 OD, it minimizes the need for repetitions and thus increases efficiency and accuracy. The system also includes maintenance-free thermostatization of cuvettes through air heating, which eliminates the need for time-consuming servicing of a water bath. Additionally, the twin test functionality supports the DiaSys HbA1c net FS assay, optimizing performance for specific diagnostic applications.

Advanced HbA1c testing

The system features fully automated onboard hemolyzation of whole blood samples, avoiding time-consuming and error-prone manual sample preparation. HbA1c smart sampling ensures efficient aspiration of erythrocytes even in samples with higher sedimentation rate by sampling at the bottom of the tube. After processing a whole blood sample, a deep washing of the sample probe minimizes carryover, enhancing accuracy and reliability.

Reagent/Sample rotor

respons®240c offers an onboard capacity of up to 36 DiaSys respons® bottles in an refrigerated reagent rotor (2-12°C). In combination with the dedicated respons® bottles, a convenient one grip loading also for two component reagents is ensured. Additionally, 36 flexible positions are available for samples/calibrators/controls.

Reagent/Sample probe

The liquid level detection system of the analyzer prevents dry aspiration and ensures in combination with the sample clot detection functions an accurate sample handling. Collision detection protects the probe from damage, while real time inventory monitoring provides a clear overview of remaining tests. Additionally, sample clot detection enhances result reliability.

With a broad photometric linearity of up to 3.5 OD, it minimizes the need for repetitions and thus increases efficiency and accuracy. The system includes maintenance-free thermostatization of the cuvettes by contact heating (metal block), which ensures stable temperature control. Additionally, the twin test functionality supports the DiaSys HbA1c net FS assay, optimizing performance for specific diagnostic applications.

Reagent rotor

respons®420c offers an onboard capacity of up to 40 DiaSys respons® bottles in a refrigerated reagent rotor (2-8°C). In combination with the dedicated respons® bottles, a convenient one grip loading also for two component reagents is ensured. Additionally, 40 flexible positions are available for samples/calibrators/controls.

Sample rotor

In total 102 positions, including 68 positions (outer ring) with automatic barcode reading and additional 34 positions (inner ring) designated for calibrators (10), controls (9), STAT samples (11), and cleaners (4) are available on the sample rotor. It hosts all major primary tubes and sample cups while ensuring high-priority processing of STAT samples. Additionally, auto dilution and automatic adaptation of the measuring window in case of substrate depletion minimize manual work, reduce rerun costs, and optimize turn around time.
