Precision in compactness

Compact & Fully-Automated Bench Top Analyzer

Experience efficient and reliable laboratory testing with respons®240c. This fully automated bench top analyzer is perfect for small laboratories since it offers a constant throughput of 240 tests per hour (400 tests/hour incl. optional ISE). Its compact design and user friendly interface provide a valuable asset to any laboratory. Benefit from low operating costs, minimal maintenance and precise results.

Reaction system

The grated photometer is designed for maintenance-free operation, featuring 12 wavelengths to ensure precise and reliable measurements. With a broad photometric linearity of up to 3.5 OD, it minimizes the need for repetitions and thus increases efficiency and accuracy. The system also includes maintenance-free thermostatization of cuvettes through air heating, which eliminates the need for time-consuming servicing of a water bath. Additionally, the twin test functionality supports the DiaSys HbA1c net FS assay, optimizing performance for specific diagnostic applications.

Advanced HbA1c testing

The system features fully automated onboard hemolyzation of whole blood samples, avoiding time-consuming and error-prone manual sample preparation. HbA1c smart sampling ensures efficient aspiration of erythrocytes even in samples with higher sedimentation rate by sampling at the bottom of the tube. After processing a whole blood sample, a deep washing of the sample probe minimizes carryover, enhancing accuracy and reliability.

Reagent/Sample rotor

respons®240c offers an onboard capacity of up to 36 DiaSys respons® bottles in an refrigerated reagent rotor (2-12°C). In combination with the dedicated respons® bottles, a convenient one grip loading also for two component reagents is ensured. Additionally, 36 flexible positions are available for samples/calibrators/controls.

Reagent/Sample probe

The liquid level detection system of the analyzer prevents dry aspiration and ensures in combination with the sample clot detection functions an accurate sample handling. Collision detection protects the probe from damage, while real time inventory monitoring provides a clear overview of remaining tests. Additionally, sample clot detection enhances result reliability.

DiaSys TLA solution

The DiaSys total Laboratory automation system (TLA) is an open, flexible and tailor-made solution for pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical work. The pre-analytical part may consist of a tube loading module, centrifuge(s) and de-capper. Based on a high number of instrument interfaces and robotic modules users in laboratories can configure the tracking line accordingly to individual needs and expectations. Besides the DiaSys BioMajesty® JCA-BM6010/C a large selection of immunoassay- coagulation- and hematology-analyzers can be connected via bypasses for analytics. For post-analytical purposes a re-capper, a cold storage (up to 13.000 tubes) or tube unloading module (incl. retrieval option for re-testing) are available. The test ordering, sample routing and result management is controlled by a so called instrument manager software which is connected to the laboratory information system (LIS) This concept leads to optimization of processes in the daily routine of IVD laboratories, consolidation of workplaces, reduction of manual work and errors as well as improved turn around time.

Reliable results – A matter of water

Quality and purity of water is of extreme importance in clinical diagnostics. In analyzers it is used to wash cuvettes, probes and mixing paddles as well as for dilution of samples and blank measurements of cuvettes.

Therefore it affects the precision of the test. Pure water prevents contamination, cross contamination and carry over. Furthermore, insufficient water quality may have a negative impact on patient results because remaining particles or ions might influence reagent performance and lead to unreliable results or reruns. This increases costs for calibrators, controls and reagents.

In combination with our analyzers and reagents, water purification systems from DiaSys complete the package for reliable patient results.

DiaSys water purification – Decision for quality

It is essential to remove all sources of contamination as ions, organics, particles, colloids and bacteria to obtain pure water. Different processes can be used to produce pure water, each with its own advantages but also limitations. Therefore, a combination of purification steps is required to achieve high quality laboratory water.

DiaSys new water purification systems, O mini+ and O maxi+ use a combination of four different purification methods in three integrated steps to provide pure water for operation of laboratory equipment and analyzers. The steps are micro- and activated carbon filtration followed by reverse osmosis and finalized with ion exchanges.

The combination of these purification procedures results in high quality laboratory water free from particles, bacteria, organics and ions.

Auto filling for respons®240c, respons®920 or respons®940 system

To optimize daily working routine DiaSys offers an auto filling solution for the DI-water tank of the respons®240c, respons®920 or respons®940. It prevents the analyzer from being stopped due to lack of water, which possibly leads to loss of patient results. It also eliminates the time spent checking the water level and refilling the DI water tank and thus makes laboratory work even more efficient.
